What's Your Sign? Our Communities' Zodiac
According to Horoscope.com, "Your Zodiac sign, or star sign, reflects the position of the sun when you were born. With its strong influence on your personality, character, and emotions, your sign is a powerful tool for understanding yourself and your relationships." But, we're using it a little differently, we polled our community of Mastin Labs users, to see if we can find any commonalities between them.

The most common zodiac sign In our community was Virgo with 13% of our community. After reading about the Virgo sign, it's no surprise. According to Horopscope.com Virgos have many personality traits that would serve a photographer well!
Virgo's Strengths

This totally makes sense: photographers need to be detailed oriented AND make a shot happen no matter the chaos they encounter. These two qualities separate a pro photographer from an amateur.
Virgo's Weaknesses
Virgo's desire to have everything be perfect can manifest in frustration when things don't live up to those (sometimes unrealistic) expectations. Besides occasionally leading to fights with friends and partners, Virgo's focus on perfection can cause everything even uploading an Instagram photo to take forever. Learning to go with the flow and accept good enough is a constant struggle. via Horoscope.com
My personal motto is: 'done is better than perfect.' This is a life lesson for Virgo's and any perfectionist. What good is perfection if a project is never done, and no one can see it? Yes, amazing work comes from ensuring things perfect but true wisdom is knowing that nothing can ever be 100% perfect and that at some point, you have to let go and allow your creation to be enjoyed by others. No one will ever be as critical to you as you are to yourself. Give yourself a break and enjoy your hard work.
