Shooting Portraits Tethered Into Capture One at The Photo Cookout
The Photo Cookout: One part photography conference and one part family cookout—and bomb potato salad.
The Photo Cookout, the brainchild of Tomayia Colvin, features an all-black photography speaker line up, filling a void in the photography industry by providing photographers of color an opportunity to network, grow professionally, and take their photography and business skills up a notch.
The conference begins with an outdoor “Cookout” on Sunday in the park, followed by two full days of hands-on photography, business, and marketing courses. Conference attendees will be able to apply what they’ve learned during the day during the afternoon “styled shoots” with lead instructors. In addition, photography vendors will display and demonstrate photography techniques for editing, tools for showcasing their client work, and developing a standout website during the conference on-site expo.
This event sells out every year so get your tickets now.
During The Photo Cookout in our Mastin Labs demo booth we took portraits of attendees to demonstrate in real-time the power of Mastin Labs and the work we've done to ensure our presets work on all skin tones. It was an honor to be invited as a sponsor at this amazing conference. We loved 2018, 2019 and are looking forward to seeing everyone again in Chattanooga 2020!
